WealthBuilder — Financial Independence Calculator (the "App")
Effective date: August 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information WealthBuilder collects, how it is used, how it is stored and protected, and the choices you have. The App is published by Wild FI AI Innovations, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). It is the iOS version of the financial-independence planning tool also available on the web at ficalculator.net.
WealthBuilder is a planning and educational tool for people who manage their own path to financial independence, including self-employed users who maintain self-directed Solo 401(k) plans. Please read this policy together with the "Educational Content Only" notice at the end.

Information We Collect
Account information
- Email address. We collect the email address associated with your account so you can sign in and so we can secure and support your account. Authentication is used to confirm that you are the person who owns your data.
Financial and planning information you enter
WealthBuilder works by letting you enter and model your own financial picture. The information you provide is stored so the App can calculate and show your results across sessions and devices. Depending on which features you use, this may include:
- Assets and accounts you choose to track, such as 401(k), IRA, Roth, HSA, brokerage, real estate (including mortgage details and rental income), mineral rights, and other passive income.
- Income information, including W-2 and 1099 income, which the App checks against official 2026 IRS contribution and eligibility limits.
- Net worth, financial-independence (FI) number, and year-by-year projection inputs, including Coast FI and Barista FI calculations.
- Retirement-paycheck and tax inputs used for the retirement paycheck view (required minimum distributions, Social Security, federal tax, and what you keep) and the Roth conversion planner.
- Drawdown-strategy inputs for comparing taxable-first, tax-deferred-first, pro-rata, and bracket-fill approaches, including the lifetime tax and ending balance for each.
- Debt information used for avalanche-versus-snowball paydown planning.
- Solo 401(k) records, including an any-asset ledger with income logged under each asset and information used to support Form 5500-EZ.
- Household and beneficiary details you choose to add, such as a spouse as a second plan participant, children on payroll, and trust structures (including up to six trust types and survivorship arrangements).
- What-if scenarios and historical backtests you create, manipulate, and save, along with your net-worth history and any PDF reports you generate.
You decide what to enter. You are not required to provide any particular financial detail to use the App, though some features will not produce meaningful results without the relevant inputs. Please do not enter information you do not want stored.
App and device information
- Technical information needed to operate the App. To sign you in and sync your data, our systems process basic connection information such as your authenticated session and standard request data. This is used to run and secure the service.
- Purchase and entitlement status. Access to paid features is managed through the Apple App Store and your login entitlement. We do not operate a third-party checkout (such as Stripe) inside the App and we do not collect or store your payment card details. Purchases and billing are handled by Apple under Apple's own terms and privacy policy; we receive only the entitlement information needed to unlock the features you are entitled to.
What we do not collect
- We do not collect your payment card, bank account, or Social Security numbers for billing. Any figures you type for planning purposes (for example, an income amount) are inputs to your own calculations, not payment credentials.
- We do not use third-party advertising identifiers, advertising SDKs, or third-party analytics trackers in the App.
- We do not build advertising profiles about you.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above only to provide and support the App, specifically to:
- Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- Store your inputs so your calculations, scenarios, reports, and history are available to you across sessions and devices.
- Perform the calculations you request, such as net worth, FI number, timelines, drawdown comparisons, Roth conversion analysis, retirement-paycheck views, debt paydown, Solo 401(k) tracking, and historical backtests.
- Generate PDF reports at your request.
- Verify your access to paid features through your App Store purchase and login entitlement.
- Respond to your support requests.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the reliability and security of the App.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not use your financial data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
How Your Information Is Stored and Secured
- Per-user storage. Your data is stored in a hosted PostgreSQL database provided by Supabase. Each user's data is kept under that user's account.
- Row-level security. Row-level security is enabled so that database records are scoped to the account that owns them, restricting access to your own data.
- Encryption in transit. Data exchanged between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS.
- Provider safeguards. Our database and hosting provider maintains its own operational and security controls for the infrastructure that stores your data.
- Access controls. Access to systems that hold user data is limited to what is needed to operate and support the App.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
Third-Party Service Providers
We use a small number of service providers to run the App. They process information only as needed to provide their service to us and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes:
- Hosting and database. Supabase provides the hosted PostgreSQL database and backend infrastructure where your account and financial data are stored.
- Email delivery. A third-party email delivery provider is used to send account-related and support-related emails (for example, sign-in and account messages).
- App distribution and purchases. Apple distributes the App and processes any purchases and entitlements through the App Store.
These providers may process data on infrastructure located in the United States or other regions in which they operate.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not share your data for advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising.
- We share information with service providers only as described above, and only to operate the App.
- We may disclose information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or a governmental request, or where necessary to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or the App.
- If our business is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction; we will continue to protect it under this policy or provide notice of any material change.
Data Retention
We retain your account information and the financial data you enter for as long as your account remains active, so that your calculations, scenarios, reports, and history remain available to you. When you request deletion of your account and data, we will delete or de-identify your information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain records to comply with legal, tax, accounting, or security obligations, or to resolve disputes. Backup copies may persist for a limited time before being overwritten in the ordinary course.
Your Choices and Deletion
- Access and correction. You can view and edit the financial information you have entered directly in the App at any time.
- Account and data deletion. You may request deletion of your account and the data associated with it by contacting us at the email address in the "Contact Us" section below with the email address associated with your account. Upon verifying your request, we will delete your account and associated data as described in "Data Retention."
- Communications. You may contact us to ask about account-related emails you receive.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws, such as the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will not deny you service for making a privacy request.
Children's Privacy
WealthBuilder is intended for adults managing their own financial planning. The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
International Users
The App is operated from the United States, and your information is processed and stored in the United States and other regions where our service providers operate. If you access the App from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this policy and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the App after an update takes effect means you accept the revised policy.
